I’m Johanna Lehto, and I created the Sinua jewelry brand for the modern woman as a symbol of your courage and individuality. My pieces invite you to live a life that truly reflects who you are—unapologetically and regardless of your age.
Throughout my life, I’ve listened to my heart and aspired to live accordingly. I’ve always sensed that something significant was on the horizon—let’s call it intuition. I firmly believe that everything arrives at the right time. Now, my life is perfectly aligned for pursuing my dreams, including entrepreneurship, where I can fully express my deepest self.

Sinua jewelry captures the essence of the art and passionate creativity I cherish. I selected Finnish birch as the primary material for my pieces, a choice driven by my lifelong affinity for wood. The forest is my sanctuary, a place where I draw strength for my daily life. I cherish all the qualities of wood - its warmth, its distinctive scent and feel.
Birch holds a profound symbolism that resonates deeply with me. Its strong roots penetrate the earth, providing not only support but also the strength to remain upright even in the fiercest storms. The annual rings of the birch trees create a visible testament to the passage of time, telling stories of lived experiences, growth, and transformation. To me, birch embodies the qualities I hope every woman will discover within herself.
I handcraft the striking abstract shapes of Sinua jewelry using acrylic paint and my unique technique. This stage is the most exhilarating for me, as it allows me to fully unleash my creativity with paints. I also cherish the process of designing and choosing colors for the jewelry. The stages before a piece reaches production are filled with exploratory art, a symphony of colors, enchanting visualizations, feelings of joy, and gratitude. I believe that all this magnificent and beautiful energy is conveyed to the person wearing our jewelry.
